While on John Galt, do read this excellent piece on Ayn Rand. It is easy now to see how ridiculous the Rand inspired ideals of one's late teens are. I don't think I can read a Rand cover to cover anymore.

I suppose its as easy to idolize somebody as it is to trash them. Personally there are lot of things I don't like about Ayn Rand's philosphy and there quite a few things that seem good. :)
