Shrinking Violet

In your natural setting, I assumed I would blend in the background. Alas! all eyes boring into me, all ears picking my every sound...the very inspiration to want the earth to swallow me up.

Shrinking Violet

Couldn't you warn me the other ones were green?

PS: K & P - Yes, yet another post that will make you want to send me howlers. For your benefit, here is shrinking violet, green (synonyms 9 & 10), and this post was an attempt to explain a recent personal experience. If you are still complaining, please go jump.

Well, after all the howlers, I now got used to it.. :)

Oh....that was so nostalgic! We had a huge tree with these violet flowers in our campus, and many a happy childhood memory have I picking these flowers

Glad to hear that saumya!

Karthik: Oooh - we are being considerate are we?

Muthukaadu?

About me

  • I'm Echo/Lavanya
  • From Chennai, India
  • So, we are curious now? My folks named me Lavanya, and it does have a meaning. I named myself Echo, for this blog. And that has a meaning too. Therefore, I have more than one name; I can walk; I can talk; I can read; I can even write; I can count - 9 'I's already and that is absolutely disgusting; I can also lie about numbers. Do you need to hear more?
